Did you know that it is now possible to change the ownership of a cable dimensioning in EL-VIS? We hope that this can be useful in cases where you want to hand over the calculation to a colleague. For example, if you have been working on a project but need the help from a colleague to complete it.

1️⃣ If you are the owner of the cable dimensioning or the administrator of your company's account, then you will find a new button for changing the ownership in the "Information-panel". Click on it, choose another user from your account, and it is done! The new owner will be notified through email.
2️⃣ If you are not the owner or administrator but can view other users calculations, you will instead see a banner at the top of the cable dimensioning. From its right corner, you can choose to either create a copy or change the ownership. The new owner does not have to be you, but all users affected by the change will be informed through email.
❗️It might happen that you cannot view other users calculations, nor see the switch-user-button in the banners right corner. Then this probably means the function is deactivated for you.
The function is by default activated for everyone except for School and Enterprise Licenses. However, it is possible for account administrators to activate or deactivate it.
If you are an administrator, then you can go to the account 'Settings' and activate or deactivate the functions 'Allow users to view each others calculations' and/or 'Allow users to take ownership over calculations'.
